Activation Email was not sent, nor resent

I need to activate my account so that I may post, but the activation email was not sent. When I resend it, it does not appear to work either. Please help, I would like to begin posting soon. my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

I have the same problem. I’ve spent quite a few hours on the site, changing password etc. and ensuring that I have given the correct email account. This is all OK but the message showing is
There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please check your inbox for a confirmation link.
I’ve been checking for the past two hours but still nothing. I have been having other emails to that address. Is there something I’m not doing properly? -

Hi @moodyblackman, for some reason that activation email isn’t being sent to you. Sorry about that! I just sent you an email to help with that activation step.
@mymusicaltheatre — I checked your account, and a number of confirmation emails have been sent to the current email address listed in your account settings. Do you see those activation emails there? (You may need to check your spam/junk folder for those.)
I also checked the new email address that’s pending on your account, and Yahoo is rejecting the emails to that address, saying that the account doesn’t exist. You’ll need to check with Yahoo about that email account to make sure it’s working and can accept emails from WordPress.com before you can complete that pending change.
