    I cannot find my activation that was mailed a while ago

    Hi there,

    Can you tell me a bit more about the trouble you are having? I see you have had an account with us for a few years now, but it has been inactive for some time. You are trying to access your WordPress.com site at gstong.wordpress.com?

    Or is this issue with another site ,possibly one I can’t see since it is under a different login or hosted with another provider? Can you let us know the URL of the site you are needing help with so we can take a closer look?

    Well,I have another link that lets me in to dashboard, which is
    https://gstong.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
    and this has a different password. User name is “gstong”
    I dont know, therefore, what the situation is.
    If its enough to get to my dashboard, then maybe nothing more has to be done
    about the first item I wrote about @activation key.
    Of course, WordPress is not as simple as it sounds, arriving at the dashboard
    I still dont know quite how to precede to place files since I havent used the app
    in a long time. But I have a WordPress book which will explain it all.
    My corecomm IPS failed to send my reply, so I had to send from here,

    the URL that I last wrote about is
    https://login.wordpress.org/wp-login.php
    neither user name is accepted,
    which are gstong and (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    That should use the same username and password of the account you’re logged into currently. That link is the wp-admin dashboard of your site here on WordPress.com. You can also see the regular dashboard of your site here as well:

    https://wordpress.com/home/gstong.wordpress.com

    Therefore you’re already logged into the correct account to work on your site which is already verified – your ability to post here on the forums under the same username is proof of that.

    Hi,
    Yes, I can get to dashboard for posting, but I would like to upload files and articles,
    not add postings.
    I have not found any menu or place for uploading, including on
    https://gstong.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    Can you suggest any ways to upload?
