Activation key not valid anymore – fixed somehow

  Hi there,

  I had created my account 3 years ago without activating it. Now I clicked on the mail from back then and it gave me an error. When trying to resend the activation mail, it said something like it is not necessary , as my account is already active – while when logging in I still got the error “This account has not been activated. Please check your email for an activation link.”.

  Somehow I found another login option, where it allowed me to get the activation mail again and it is fixed now, but there seems to be a glitch in the system.

  Hi Elias,

  I am glad that you were able to get the activation email to resend. My guess is that the glitch was due to the amount of time between creating and activating, but I will tag a staff member to have a look so they will be aware of the issue you encountered.

  Hi Elias,

  I’ve double checked your account and it has now been activated, so there is nothing more you need to do.

  This issue was likely caused by your account being created several years ago without being activated. Everything looks as expected on your account but please let me know if you run into any problems.
