Activation — Long Story, Simple solution?
-
In 2006, I joined WP.com and was lucky enough to get my fav URL as it was early. However at the time a friend was hosting my WP.org blog elsewhere. Now my friend can’t do it anymore and I’m trying to bring it over to WP.COM.
So here’s my question. when I log into my account, under Account Settings it says
Primary Site: Add New WordPress
Web Address: http://clevergirl.wordpress.com
(shown publically when you comment)I’m confused because I don’t seem to actually have a wordpress blog called clevergirl.wordpress.com because I can’t find a dashboard anywhere to import my file from my old site to. Yet, when I click on Add New WordPress and try to enter “clevergirl.wordpress.com” it tells me that this already exists.
Is there a way to make this work? do I need to create a new primary site name? And also is that what I’m supposed to do in order to be able to upload my .org site? Is it that easy?
um, Help?

Hello. It’s been more than 48 hours and I still haven’t received a response to this. Can someone tell me how long I need to wait? If I need to send an email somewhere else to get a new activation email, I would be happy to do that if someone could tell me what the address is. Thanks.
