  According to staff, it’s possible a bug is preventing the email being sent to you because your account was created several months ago, but not yet activated. If you recall, please indicate how you signed up (mobile app, Gravatar.com, or WordPress.com) and whether you recall getting an activation email when you first created your account. That will help with troubleshooting. I’ve tagged this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

  Hi there,

  As @Micawbr mentioned, there is a glitch in our activation system which is why you never received the e-mail. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  I was able to repair the glitch so you should be good to go. Please check and see if you are able to access your account without issue.
