Activation of the theme

    Hello! I was trying to activate Dalston theme but was not able to do so, can you please help me solve this issue? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    I see your site is hosted on Bluehost, and connected here via Jetpack, so I assume you’re trying to activate it via the Jetpack theme showcase under the My Site menu on WordPress.com, correct?

    Based on the Jetpack debugger at https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/?url=https://blueb.in/, there’s a problem with the Jetpack connection for your site, which is most likely why this is failing. From your WP-Admin dashboard, disconnect and reconnect Jetpack and see if that helps.

    If it doesn’t, it’s likely because you still have Bluehost’s maintenance mode enabled. In that case, you can try disabling that to see if it helps. Alternatively, you can download Dalston from the showcase page at https://wordpress.com/theme/dalston/ and then install it manually from WP-Admin.

    Note that Dalston is a child theme of Varia, so you’ll need to download and install Varia as well for Dalston to work.
