Activation on Themes

    I’m trying to activate free themes but says it is unable to activate. What gives?

    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is hosted by Bluehost. You must contact their support.

    Hi there,

    Are you trying to activate a theme via the Jetpack plugin at Appearance ->Themes here on WordPress.com?

    If so, that’s not working, because the Jetpack connection for your site is broken. Your site at Bluehost is connected here using the temporary domain they provided to you, but that domain gives a 404 error if I try to visit it, which means Jetpack also won’t be able to access it.

    Log into your site’s WP-Admin dashboard, disconnect Jetpack and reconnect it under your current domain for the site, and once it’s reconnected all the option to manage the site from your WordPress.com account should also work again.
