Active menu doesnt take any class or any style

  I have created a custom theme in wordpress, i want to add style to active menu-item but i cant.
  Current menu-item doesnt have any extra class and it doesnt have any style.
  How can i fix that ?

  Sorry for the delay, I really didn’t waited to respond this fast.
  Am currently working in localhost.
  I searched in google a lot for this problem but neither of them didnt worked for me unfortunately
