Active website but inactive account

I am trying to reactivate my wordpress site. The site is still active and the domain works but I cannot login into my account. It trys to open a new account and will not let me use my domain. It tells me the domain is registered to another user but even using the associated email address it does not recognize my previous information or purchases.

The solution is very simple: log out from current and log in again using the username stellar – https://wordpress.com/forums/users/stellar/ – so do not use an email address.

That did not work. It does not link me to my earlier account which holds my purchasing information. I have the paypal receipt which shows I paid for an account and the domain but I cannot log in to WordPress. My email address is linked to this “stellar account” which shows as new account and is not linked to my domain. Somehow I have lost access to my original account.

That works perfect if you just follow the instructions! Again: log out from current and log in again using the username stellar so not an email address
