Actively archiving blogs

Hi, I’m trying to move some blogs so they don’t appear on the home page but do appear in the archives. How do I do this?

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

See the Category Pages support page. You may use category pages to organize posts into separate groups by category. However, every published post, regardless of the category or categories assigned to it, will still appear in the blog page.

To avoid displaying some posts on the front page, you could remove all posts from the front page by replacing the blog page with a static page. Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page.

Some other options for controlling which posts appear on the blog page, and in what order, are the following:

    1. Posts per page — When infinite scroll is disabled, then the number of posts displayed on the blog page is determined by the “Blog pages show at most” setting at the WP Admin Reading Settings page. The default setting is 10 posts per page. See the Reading Settings support page. However, note that the “Blog pages show at most” setting will not only apply to the blog page, but also to the author, category, tag, date (year, month, day) archives pages, all other archives pages, and search results.

    2. Reorder posts — You may change the order in which posts are displayed by selectively altering their publish dates and times.

    3. Sticky Posts — One or more posts can be set to permanently appear at the top of the other posts on the blog page. See the Sticky Posts section of the Post Visibility support page.
