actually writing a post on the template

Yesterday I tried to cut and paste a blog post I’ve written. A few paragraphs in, the rest of the page turned black and I couldn’t see my post. Instead of cutting and pasting, I’ve just tried to input it myself — typing it from scratch. The same thing has happened. It’s like I’m being blocked after a few paragraphs. Why is this happening?

Thank you for getting back to me. Yes, that is what I see, except I can see a couple of paragraphs and then I encounter that black screen. And I use Safari.
I’ve been blogging on WordPress since 2008, using Safari, and this is the first time I’ve had this problem.

Thanks @fransiweinstein, we do have a fix that’s coming soon. You might also try updating Safari, if possible, to see if that helps.

Thanks again for getting back to me. And I’m glad you have a fix coming soon, but this concerns work I do for a client. I HAVE to be able to post this blog in the next week to 10 days max.
I already have the latest edition of Safari. Would using Chrome instead solve the problem?
Not having a blog posted is not an option for me, this is business, not my personal blog.

@fransiweinstein we have seen a few reports for Chrome, too, but if you’re using the latest version of Chrome, it should work (it works for me with the latest version available for Mac). Can you give it a try?

I will try but it will have to be much later tonight or tomorrow because I have a meeting in a minute and an online event at 6.
When I do try I will definitely let you know how it goes. But there is going to have to be some kind of solution because I cannot tell my client he can’t have a blog posted.

Hi again. I just tried Chrome and it appears to have worked. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I also hope you do find a solution for those of us who use Safari, we really shouldn’t have to change browsers. I have another question: I had problems cutting and pasting my document. I never had a problem doing that before you switched to block edit or whatever this new platform is. Am I doing something wrong or is that ability gone now? Thanks.
