Ad Control questions

Hi, I would like to know some things about ad control… Anyone uses it? I would like to know how much can you earn from one click over the specific ad? And I am also interested in how the ads look like; can someone supply some pictures with these ads? .. And as for skimlinks, that can only be used in the case when you have some products names on your blog?
    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Raincoaster has it on one of her sites, but I don’t know which one. She should probably wander through the forums later in the day, so hopefully she will see this thread and respond to you.

On the money side of things, I don’t know specifics, but from what I’ve heard, don’t quit your day job.

Raincoaster said she’s only made $5.00 so far. I expect she will log in later today or tomorrow. Here’s a link to the threads > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/ad-control

I use it, and “how much can you earn from one click over the specified ad” is exactly the kind of information that WP does not provide to the blogger.

I’ve made about $20 so far, I think that’s four months worth of earnings.

Skimlinks only work when you refer to the specific product on your blog, that’s right.

wow :O .. For over 700 visitors a day, all you can get is such a small amount ? It’s somehow frustrating to see that after you spend a lot of time bringing traffic to your blog, you can’t get a penny out of it :(… It’s an unpleasant surprise wp.com does to it’s free users. However, I checked your site but cannot figure out where the ads are :) I can see your blog’s address does not have wordpress.com in the end … what host do you use for that? :) and have you tried to use google adsense instead of ads control? :)
    Thank you.

i have the Domain upgrade, and in fact was the first person to have it,

Adsense would be outlawed, of course. If you want to make ad revenue, you want to do it at some site other than WordPress.com. I have a LOT of advice I could give you about that, but I’d charge for it.

Thank you :) but i think i will go for a website instead.. wordpress.com has way too many limitations for me :-< no java support, no ads allowed, no iframe (for facebook), no nothing
