Ad Filters

  Some of our advertisers don’t want their ad banners to run against or be targeted to specific content. How do I put in ad filters? Thanks!

  There are no ad filters here at WordPress.com. We bloggers have no control over which ads WordPress.com displays on our blogs. There is no blogger initiated advertising allowed and that includes paid or sponsored content and ad banners.

  There is a single advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here: http://wordads.co/ But as I said above advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:

  If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.   I didn’t realize this was the wrong forum—I was redirected here. Yes, our site is enabled to run advertising directly sold by our company. Through my continued search of the platform, I was able to find the ad filters under settings. Thanks again for responding to my question!
