Ad HTML Disappearing

  Hello there, I’m trying to connect my website to the ad service I’ve selected for my website. I implemented the HTML they gave me in order to verify the website but every time I hit save it disappears. Is there any way around this ? Additionally, they mentioned uploading a file to the root of the website but I’m not entirely sure how to access that either.

  Here at WordPress.com there are certain restrictions regarding adverts. You can use Wordads if you have an upgraded Premium or Business plan but Propellerads and the like can only be used with self-hosted sites running the WordPress.org software.

  Well that’s disappointing. Are there any future plans to expand the WordPress monetization website options ?
