ad playing on own domain?

  I understand I could pay $30 to upgrade to “NO Ads” but is this the case when I own the domain name? The wordpress.com is not in the address. Thank you.

  All adding a domain name does is put a different name plate on the front door. Everything inside is still the same. All the same rules and policies apply.

  That said, what type of ads are you seeing? They may not be from WP.

  That’s from WP.com all righty.

  Each upgrade at WP.com applies only exactly to what it says, not to anything else.
