Ad popped up between WordPress pages

  While navigating between my blog site and my dashboard, a page popped up between that had nothing but an ad on it. It was one of those “Ellen doesn’t want you to know” ads you see on the sidebar of yahoo, Facebook, etc. It said it would continue to my site in x seconds and started counting down. The WordPress taskbar with the logo, etc. still showed at top.

  Is this a new WordPress ad campaign or did I pick up some sort of virus?

  Do you have a NO-Ads upgrade?

  I don’t think so (?) Would I have paid extra for that? I see ads at the bottom of posts all the time. This was a separate page that came up.
