Ad pops up when opening blog

  Hi ………. a general question:

  I did install wordpress on my own paid webspace, but it appears that new windows/tabs open up in browsers showing ads. I do not have domain mapping yet, which might delete these “outside the blog” ads.

  Is it correct that domain mapping is required in order to have no advertising at all… I mean no ads when opening or leaving the blog?

  If you installed WordPress on a paid web-space that means your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM, this site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
