Ad positioning MH Magazine Theme
-
I recently transferred my blog from the Twenty Fourteen theme to MH Magazine. On my previous theme, the ads run by WordPress.com would appear below my blog posts, but on the new theme, sometimes ads appear between the blog title and the featured image. Is that normal placement of ads on this theme?
Thanks,
Caroline

We do not provide support for WordAds issues here. We are instructed to contact WordAds Staff directly please https://wordads.co/contact/ but I’ll tag this thread with modlook for you as well.

Thanks, I’m just a little bit confused because these are the ads that WordPress runs in return for hosting my blog for free, so that’s why I didn’t flag it with WordAds. But I can do that now.

Hi Caroline,
We try to make ads as unobtrusive as possible. I have reviewed your site and do not see an ad between the blog title and featured image. If possible could you make a screenshot so we can take a look. If you’re not sure how to make a screenshot here’s how:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Also for clarity sake, the ads we run on free sites are not the same as the WordAds program. the WordAds program is an opt-in revenue sharing program for users who want to show more ads on their site to gain revenue from their content. In this case your question is regarding ads and not WordAds specifically.

@bdukes – In an incognito window in Chrome, I see an ad block twice. Once at the position that @carokidd87 mentioned and again at the bottom of the same post. (screenshots)

Hi Caroline,
I have reached out to our ads team and it appears that only the ad block at the bottom was suppose to appear. We have removed the ad block that was appearing between the post and the title.
