Adapting the background to computer screens

  Good evening,
  I wonder if my screen can be adaptable to different computer background using the Sketch theme.

  If not, is there a Theme Sketch as adapting to different screen sizes ?

  Or is there a CSS code to integrate with the extension custom Design ?

  Hi, Sketch is a responsive width theme and it adjusts to display your content on all screen sizes from desktop monitors all the way down to phones. If you go to Appearance > Customize > CSS in your customizer, there are three buttons at loser left which you can click to see what your site will look like on desktop, tablet and phone.

  I’m not sure what you are wanting when you say “adapting the background to computer screens”. Can you explain a bit futher what you are wanting? Thanks in advance.

  Hello, precisely when I do the test of adaptive view of WordPress, disparraissait my background, I found a code that works much:

  body {
  -webkit-background-size: cover;
  background-size: cover;
  background-position: top center;
  }

  .social ul-links a: hover {:: before
  background: none repeat scroll b21f22 # 0 0;
  }

  I wanted my bottom is fixed according to the size of the screen.

  Maybe you have more accurate css as this?

  Hmmm, I’m not quite sure what result you would like. Could you send an example of what you have in mind?

  As another possibility, if you aren’t planning on using Sketch’s main features, you might consider trying on a different theme to see if it will make your background work the way you want it to. You can try new themes and settings and even CSS in the customizer without saving the changes … I hope that help!

  Hi, sorry to come back to you so late, but with attacks from Paris down to my house, I had trouble get over it ….

  What I try to do and make my bottom responsive and unfortunately even with this CSS code below, it does not work:

  My coaching, my frieze that I made on my wallpaper site, disappears on a screen of 13 inches and a ditto tablet. It is true that it is difficult to explain because my site is private and can not send you screenshots.

  I love my wallpaper remains fixed and reponsive along my articles …
  And I dare not test with other themes since the last time I did that, I mistakenly turned on the site, so lost all my data …

  Ah okay. The background is there, but it’s still mostly covered by the content.

  You might try this to see what I mean:

  .site {
      background: rgba(255,255,255,.8);
  }

  If you like that look, you can increase or decrease the transparency with that last number — .8 is 80%.

  Or you could try using a repeating section of your image as your background.
