Adaption Theme widget bars – can they be static?

  I’m using the adaption theme and I need to know if theres anyway that the widget bars can be static and only the posts scroll?

  any help would be muchly appreciated.

  There are a few themes that offer a fixed sidebar or a front page template. Unfortunately, it’s not easy locating them in the theme showcase. Both Ari and Fictive have a fixed sidebar, but whatever you put there needs to fit the space.

  Alternatively, you might consider a static front page for your site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  Also, it might be possible to do something with the annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and some CSS editing experience. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ But I would ask in the CSS forum first before purchasing the upgrade.
