AdControl

I have the AdControl program active on http://raincoaster.com and noticed on my most recent post an ad that wasn’t Adsense: it was Nextag, of which I haven’t heard before:
http://raincoaster.com/2011/04/15/star-trek-lost-scene/
the ad link goes to:
http://www.nextag.com/serv/main/buyer/OutPDir.jsp?nxtg=80de0a50052d-CC9ED4371951C561&kw=star+trek+online&search=star+trek+online&m=5182478247001997938
and on the main blog page, you just see a standard Adsense block.I have an Adsense ID, but I don’t have a Nextag ID, which is presumably required for me to get paid for whatever the ads bring in. Is this a new program being tested, is it outside of Ad Control, or what? Anybody know?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The way Ad Control works right now is that we show your ads 50% of the time, and our ads for the other 50%, so it is possible that you may see a non-Adsense ad from time to time.

Yes. We randomly serve ads from your account and our account at a 50/50 split. You receive 100% of the income from your 50% of the ads.
(…which over the long run comes out statistically equal to 50% of the income from 100% of the ads.)

Thanks, that last part was what I was specifically interested in. Adsense isn’t particularly attractive, and if the ads WP.com got to keep revenue from were more likely to get clicks, I’d be annoyed. As long as it does come out 50/50, I’m good.
