Add a banner image to a landing page, responsive theme

  Hello,

  I’m interested in getting a banner image to sit on the landing page of my website http://www.preventiondiaries.com. I would like the banner to sit either above the top navigation bar, or below it (where the book and text currently are), running the length of the page, with the text about prevention diaries right below the banner.

  I don’t think it’s possible to add that with the customizer, but wondering if I could use a css trick to include it?

  Hi Christine, I’m not sure if this can be done cleanly, do you have an image in mind? If you do, and if it is uploaded to your media library, can you give me a link to it and I can see what I can do.
