  Would like to add a clock from clocklink, is it possible?

  If it contains javascript or flash, it is not allowed due to security concerns.

  Scroll to the bottom of the Clocklink homepage. They have clearly mentioned that in WordPRress “for security purposes, embed tags will be removed from your blog before publishing.” They have suggested this: “If you blog at one of these sites (including WordPress) and want to see ClockLink support, let them know how you feel!”

  What does that mean “for security purposes”? It sounds like I am at the airport and need to take off my shoes for the security officers.

  WordPress.com uses a multi-user version of wordpress which means everyone blogging here uses the same underlying files. Any security hole introduced by one blogger could affect many. Javascript and flash could be used by those “less than ethical” people out there to compromise the system.
