Add a font using css to wordpress website
-
Hi guys,
I’m hoping someone could help me please.
I need to change the font of a certain text area to
font-family: ‘Lucida Handwriting Std’, sans-serif;
But I just can’t get it right. I’ve tried with and without quotations, single or double. It just doesn’t change.
Does anyone have any advice please?
Best regards,
Monique

Hi there!
Can you let us know the URL of the site where you’re needing help? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thank you!

Hi!
Thank you for reaching out to me. The text I’d like to use the font for is in red on these 2 pages:

Thanks for that! Since your site is not hosted with us here at WordPress.com, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
