  hello,
  how can i add a footer to my theme through the customize? my theme does not support a footer widget.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  Themes come with a default widget placement. It really is not possible to add a footer-widget. It is easier to change themes:

  You can add some text to the existing footer, try adding this to your existing custom CSS:

  .site-info:before {
    content:"Copyright 2014 | Some other text | Whatever else you want";
    display:block;
  }
