Add a Forum to my self hosted website

  Hi!

  I plan on adding a forum to my self hosted Website/blogg (www.obsid.se)
  My plan is to add it under http://www.obsid.se/forum and make it accessible from the main website.

  I do not want to create a separate website
  I do no want it under a sub domain, eg. forum.obsid.se

  Can this be done? If it’s possible, what is the best solution?

  On a side note. Can I autoinsert Adsense Code into forum posts and forum side bars?
