Add a forum to WP

  Hello,

  I hope you can help.

  I would like to add a BB / Forum option to one of my WP sites, but there are a number of admin / user options I would like.
  I currently have another site that uses Joomla and has Kunena added, which is OK, but it Joomla far to complex for some of my users; WP is perfect for our needs, and I like it better.

  The things that are important are –
  1. User groups (at least 6 groups required), other than public / private.
  2. Moderators per topic / forum
  3. Users picked up from subscribers

  There are other options, but these are the most important.

  Can anyone suggest a plugin that may suit our needs?

  A forum would be something you would need a self-hosted site for. You don’t have database access or plugins on a WordPress.com site.
