Add a gap to the top of post with a video

  The one thing with the Opti theme that is driving me nuts is if I post just a video it slams the video right to the top of the page, there’s no gap.

  for example:

  https://asweetdoseofreality.com/2017/09/16/5-biggest-mysteries-secrets-surrounding-the-egyptians-pyramids/

  It mashes it right under “By TS on blah blah date”

  Articles that start with text don’t do that. There’s a space.

  For example:

  https://asweetdoseofreality.com/2017/09/15/facebook-promises-to-censor-all-material-that-makes-zuckerberg-sad/

  Any ideas? I can add a div to add a gap but it’s tedious for each post with just a video.

  Actually, this seems like a weird bug with this theme. If I start a post off with a heading it also smashes it against the top of the page.

  example:

  https://asweetdoseofreality.com/2017/09/12/60-minutes-denies-altering-steve-bannons-appearance-video/

  I’m not sure what to do with that.

  Hi there, that is the way Opti is designed, but we can increase the space between the metadata and the content with the following. You can adjust the 20px value as desired.

  .single .postmetadata {
    margin-bottom: 20px;
  }

  Hey just wanted to give people an update. I contacted the people who created the Opti theme and they have corrected this issue. You don’t have to do anything on your end if your site is hosted on WordPress.

  I just checked my site and it’s been updated already with the new fix.
