add a hyperlink to the header image

Hello I would like to know if there is any way to add a hyperlink to my header image. I found some threads about his but they are very old and I don’t know if I can use them now.

Note that you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with theme specific CSS editing.

Thans. Just to be clear I only want my header to point to my blog home page. I don’t know if this changes things and if there is any easier way to do it…. just saying :)

Yes I understand that but it’s still a CSS issue because it can’t be done any other way.

So if I understood correctly I will have to create a new menu item using the dashboard… then I will link it to my homepage ( I guess by pasting the url somewhere in the settings of the button?) And then I will transform the menu item using CSS panel to cover the header?

About 10 years ago all header images were linked to the site home URL but that practice faded away into obscurity. Sorry but I have been careful not to learn enough CSS to be expected to answer CSS questions so I don’t help with any CSS editing issues. That help is found in the CSS forums.
