Add a link?

Hi….sorry if this question is so basic, but can’t seem to figure this out…..I am starting a new blog (little blog of happy), but I would like to have a way to link to
my original blog (gardenmad). I would like this to show up on my little blog of happy sidebar. (Would also like to do the reverse, and link to little blog of happy from gardenmad). Is there an easy way to do this? Appreciate any suggestions!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,
You can use an image widget in your sidebar on each of the blogs and link the image to the appropriate site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

I can’t quite figure out where to get the image to use in the image widget….i can get the text to work okay, but instead of any of the images I try, i just get a tiny box with a question mark in it.

Thanks for your help so far!

If you want an image linkk, you need to create or select a suitable image, upload it to your blog via Media > Add New and copy the file URL.

Then you go to Appearance > Widgets, add an Image widget, and add the image URL to it.Note: in this case the image should be in the right width for your sidebars, as Explorer might not display correctly images downsized by the widget.

Or you can go to Links > Add New, create a link to the other blog, assign it a unique link category, and add the image URL; then go to Appearance > Widgets, add a Links widget to your sidebar, and set it to display images and to display that link category only.

Or you can go to to Appearance > Widgets, add a Text widget, and use the right coding in it. See here:
