Add a link to a featured image

  How do I add a link to a featured image.

  I want to set the featured image such that when clicked, it directly takes the reader to an external url.

  Im trying to set up a collective blog where I want to keep on adding the blog posts that I write on my other 4 blogs

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s not possible. It’s not how your theme is designed to operate at all. Please go to http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/pictorico/ and read the featured images section there. Featured images are set in featured posts and it is the post URL in the blog that they are linked to. See also: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
