Add a new page problem

Hi,
I am trying to add a page of photos as a galley page but the permalink it makes on my page only links to my last post ? Whats going on there ? Is it because one or two of the photos are attached to that post ?
I just can’t get it to work or is it because I am a free blog I don’t get another page ? Please helpThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Mmmm I’ll have a look there. Problem is I make a new page, fill it with photos only shows up at top of my blog as a link but links to a post.

Here’s my problem
1. Make a new page.
2. Add a little txt
3. Add some photos
4. Name it Gallery blah blah blah
5. permalink comes up top as nuclearidea.com/Galley-blah-blah-blah
6. publish
Link on my blog page takes me to the last post i made on the blog and not to the page of photos.
Just got me beat this one. WordPress is difficult to work out and edit. -
What “link on my blog?”
Give us the exact link that shows up on the blog, and where you see it. Some themes have tabbed headers which automatically show pages. Some do not; in that case, you need to use the Pages widget.

You will see the link that appears next to “Home” “About” then “Gallery Gosford March in March”

That’s weird. I see exactly the same as you see. I will flag this for staff to sort out.

Yes, I posted all the photos there as an after thought because I couldn’t get the Gallery going on and there is no edit available for the Permalink other than the section “/Gallery Gosford March in March” wouldn’t really know what to change that to even when I experimented in page attributes gave it a parent “About” still went to the About page.
Oh Man this gets weirder I just mad a test page with one image link appears the same after the Gallery link and it works perfectly.
I have a feeling the Gallery one is not working because some of the photos are attached to that post. Im going to try uploading separate photos for it.

Yes, that is what you have to do for a gallery. You can just rename the photos and upload those to the gallery though; it will read them as entirely new photos.

Does the same bloody thing and I have even deleted all the duplicate photos from the post and from the media library.If I click on the link for each individual photo in the media library it takes me to the page but the Permalink on my blog page does not still goes to the post.

The test page works but if I try to make a page with the photos it treats it as a post and the Permalink it makes either takes you to the main blog page with the photos as latest post or to the photos as a post.
Tried it several times and even deleted all the photos and uploaded them into a new page in edit and yet the test page works fine as a new page.
Must be because of the meta data in the photos because there are duplicates in the March post.
