I copied the link of my uploaded photo and fill it in at the widget. If the URL is filled in of the picture, the picture appears, but the picture is only black ? How come? Can you help me please.

Hi Jenny!
Are you referring to your site jenniferbachdim.com? I don’t see an Image Widget currently active on your site. Could you either A) activate the widget so I can see it in action or B) copy and paste the link here to the URL of the image you’re trying to use?
You can read more on the image widget here:

Sorry Jeremey I deleted the picture, because it was just a black box. I tried it now again on my german site, can you please check it. Thanks so much

Hi Jenny!
It’s appearing correctly on my side I believe as shown in the example here:
Can you try two things?
- Clear your browser cache. Instructions can be found here:
- Try another browser and let me know if you’re experiencing the issue across all browsers.
Let me know if it starts appearing correctly on your side!

Oh really it appears correctly on your site :(
Well I cleared my browser like the instructions told me to,
and I checked again my site, and saw the picture for a moment and then it turned black again.. Do you know why? -
Hi Jenny,
Did you try another browser outside of Safari like Google Chrome? Was the problem reproducible there?
-
I tried it at an other laptop as well with safari and it worked.. Guess something is wrong with my safari then ..

Could you try resetting Safari (Safari -> Reset Safari)? Please note, this will clear all of your browser history and your browser cache (stored logins, etc). However, there may be a setting you have enabled preventing the image from displaying.
