Add a pinterest widget to sidebar
-
Hello! Can someone please help me to understand/learn how to add a Pinterest widget to my sidebar. Unfortunately I don’t even know how to find out which theme I’m using (in case that is useful information?). My blog is Rhapsodyfarmhouse.blog/
I would be so grateful. I’ve searched the forums. I’ve tried doing it through Pinterest. I’m completely out of my depth.
TIA,

Hi Tabatha,
The Pinterest widget is JavaScript and cannot be used on WordPress.com hosted sites. You may want to try the following workaround provided by @ponderingpossibly:
1. go to your Pinterest profile/boards
2. In the search bar it will say something like uk.pinterest.com/yourusername or pinterest.com/yourusername
3. write ‘feed.rss’ after your link so pinterest.com/yourusername/feed.rss/
4. go to WordPress ‘customizer’ and click ‘widgets’
5. Select the ‘Flickr’ widget
6. For the link field, copy and paste the pinterest.com/yourusername/feed.rss into that
7. Ta Da!

Hi @justjennifer,
Yes I did. I wasn’t sure if that would work in the sidebar. It’s worth a try though :-)
