add a sidebar to post pages in the default (Kubrick) theme
-
I am using the default (Kubrick) theme. I am trying to work out how I can get the sidebar to show on ‘post’ pages, as well as the ‘home’ and ‘page’ pages.
I found this, but it doesn’t appear to match the current theme UI:

It won’t do it on Kubrick. That theme only displays sidebars on the main page. Try another theme; there are a bajillion that look/work more or less the same, but will display those sidebars on every page.

Please change the link in your profile from your .net site to your WordPress.com blog; this is a technical forum and only your WP.com blog is relevant to us. Quite often we save a ton of time by just checking someone’s blog, but we can’t do that with yours because there’s no link.

Ok, thanks. I like Kubrick, but I guess I’ll have to try another theme.

Oops. Sorry. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Why don’t ya try Contempt by Michael Heilemann?
A more professional version of Kubrick, sporting hard lines and 2-columns.
and although Chaotic Soul is the most popular theme on the site by number of blogs using it, blogs using Contempt (the second most popular theme) generated about 50% more pageviews. (Via July Wrap-up)
