Add a "snipe" jpeg to blog post

  Hi – I am working on a food blog that shows recipes. Is there a way to add a “snipe” to a blog post? I want to create a jpeg of a star type design that has the words “super simple” or “fast and easy” to display in a post (preferably on top of a photo) as a way to get people’s attention. I can also make this a “tag” of course (easy, difficult…), but I was looking for a visual way to call something out to my followers. Once I have this jpeg made, could I lay it on top of a photo in the corner? Wasn’t sure how much design flexibility I had. Thanks! Susu
