Add a subscription widget or plugin to Misty Lake blog.
-
Misty Lake works well as my theme, but I’m wondering if there’s a widget or plugin that prominently positions a subscription “button” on the right side of all pages or even just on the blog posting page.
Also, checking the dashboard, there doesn’t see to be a way to add widgets or plugins that didn’t come with Misty Lake. Can I do that, and if so, how? I’m not highly tech savvy, so please use little words and hand puppets to explain. Thanks, Community!

You can set up email subscriptions by using this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
If you would like a follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts see here >

You can customize the contact form with multiple fields, change the email address where you’ll be notified, and mark feedbacks as spam from your dashboard. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

Thanks SO much, timethief. This info was scary helpful! Have already made changes to my site and read up on the other instructions for future use. Also bookmarked your valuable blog. I owe you a bag of skittles and a Red Bull!
