  How can I add my own theme?

  Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  Themes can’t be installed on WordPress.com. Is it possible for you to get a refund of the theme? Also, if you let me know what theme you purchased, I’m happy to help you find a similar one at WordPress.com!

  What about something like Harmonic? That theme has different sections of the home page that can be used to display different post types (blog posts, static content, portfolio posts, etc):
