Add a user

  I want to add one of our new employees as an author. The “invite new user(?)” is not exactly what I want to do. For one thing, if I am understanding it rightly, she would have to open her own wordpress account for me to “invite” her and then she would have to accept. Since she is an employee, I am not sure why she would have to do that and why I am not seeing a way just to “add” her as an author.

  Hi there,
  The invitation process must be used – period. There is no way around this. Think about it please. How would software differentiate between a hacker and an authorized user, unless the latter had a username account and were logging in under it?
