Add a user title to text widget
-
I have about 10 text widgets, I can never be sure which is which, if only I could read a title, or the first few words when in admin mode.
-
I don’t get it, when I go under widgets in admin mode, the text widgets does show the titles of the different text widgets. You might be having a support problem, or maybe its an IE thing, I cant remember if I was able to see the title when I used IE.

Every text widget can have a title – you just have to enter it on the first line of the widget.
-
But then, the first line of the widget shows up in the blog, and it shows up as a Title.
Which I do not use. -

In fact, the user title showing up in the list is the improvement to the text widgets that so many of us asked for. Before it was changed, all we had was Text widget, even when a custom title was entered.
What you are asking for is a way to have the title hidden. And that can be done with the CSS upgrade.

dsbirute, I believe the limit for text widgets before was 9. But since they upgraded the dashboard, there doesn’t seem to be a limit now from what I can tell. You can have as many as you want.
