Add a word doc link

Usually I can use – Add media files from Your computer – to add a link to a file in a post or page.However it does not work for me today. When I drag and drop the file into the dashed oblong it does not work I do not know what I do wrong.

Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Exactly which browser and version of it are you using please? If your browser version needs updating you can do that here.

I answered timethief by adding items within his posting.. I now suspect that I should not have used this method. Did timethief get my reply?

I have limited knowledge. I do not know how to clear cache and cookies. I use Firefox ( I guess that = a browser? ) I think Version 9.

Thank you timethief for your help. I clicked on the link and Firefox has a video that shows clearly how to clear both cache and cookies. I shall now record in my procedures folder so that when I have to do it again I will have a record of how to do it.
