Hi. If you used another blogging platform (Blogger, Posterous, etc.), you may be able to import them:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/#importing-content-from-another-platform-or-wordpress-blogIf however, you have a bunch of HTML files, sorry, but you cannot upload them to WordPress.COM. You’ll probably have to do what I did a few months ago: copy and paste the code into a new post, one by one…

If you have webspace somewhere, such as through your ISP, perhaps you can upload them there and then link to them from a custom header.

WordPress.org pages can either be copy/pasted in here (in the HTML editor) or you can do an Import. That’s not hard.

it wont let me import these pages…i have tried that but maybe i am doing something wrong. I have 5 pre-built pages that i want to import into my blog and the pages all link to each other. but there is nothing on wordpress that lets me do that

Are they hosted on the web somewhere?
If it’s only five pages, click to the HTML editor, copy the HTML in the post box, come to your WP.com blog, go to New Post, click to the HTML editor, paste the stuff you copied, add tags, categories and title, customize the date if you want, and hit Publish.

There’s nothing to prevent you from linking the pages to one another. You can use Page Jumps, or you can just manually insert a link.

Okay so if this question of yours here in this thread is about a wordpress.ORG self hosted install then you are posting to the wrong support forum. The correct support forum for that software is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/
The differences > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
