add ALT text to archived images

  hi all,

  looking for some advice on a plugin or other method to automatically add ALT-text to a large existing inventory of images. i’ve got a large image library and i’m not too, too picky about how good the ALT text is (image filenames are typically quite good / accurate, so populating from them would be fine). i would prefer not to have to go back and do it by hand. any ideas on how to batch process this?

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
