Add an Archive Page
-
Hi,
I would like to add an Archive page that displays all of my previous articles.
However, when I go to the Manage Page and Create a New Page, I can’t get it to automatically display the list of posts. My blog is 0xcafe.wordpress.com and I’m using the Contempt theme.

we do not have an archive page as such. we have an archives widget however, which you can put in your sidebar and is available at every page in your blog.
if you still want an archive page, you have to paste the link to each post / month one by one.
if you’re interested in making an index, this thread may be useful:

Some themes do have an archive page option.
I have one using Misty Look (blog linked to my user name) and one using Cutline (http://esladventures.wordpress.com/)

I saw a very good article on Plain Blogging (http://plainblogging.wordpress.com/2007/07/11/hidden-wordpresscom-themes-gem-page-templates/) where the author lists all of the possibilities with Page Templates… and Contempt does not have any :'(
Sorry to waste your time. I will try the WordPress Index tip though!
