'Add an image' pop-up box – lost my work can you please fix it in the future?

  I added images via the pop-up box. I wrote titles, captions, alternate text and descriptions for about 15 photos. Got to a photo I didn’t like and pressed delete on that photo only. All my captions for the previous 15 photos went away! Have to re-write them. Please fix for future users. Thanks!!! Clicking save all changes every so often takes time because it causes all the pictures to ‘hide’ and I have to click a photo again to continue to enter text.
