As someone with autism I have light sensitivity issues. If I could select a dark mode for the e-mail content I would be so happy, as would everyone else with light sensitivity issues. Hoping that someone who has some control can help here.

There are some other ways this can be accomplished which may help others but I still have issues. Using a terminal e-mail client or a local/web client with color overrides (doesn’t work for e-mail accounts that can be accessed only through the web or the service app.) Turning off HTML and getting text only emails (but then you’re left looking at just the markup language.) Color inversion on phones also does not work because while the content looks fine, the app itself is also inverted. Since many apps now do dark mode by default or even only have a dark mode this is a problem. Turning down the screen brightness almost all the way is an option, however it’s still not a good one since it’s like lowering the volume on a really annoying sound.
