  Is there an easy way to a personal comment and add a few words of encouragement on my sidebar? The area I need is above the monthly status on my blog. The Theme of my blog is Ocean MIst. Thank you, Chuck

  Just use a text widget.

  I am over my head I admit. I’ve gone to text widgets but from there which widget do I use. Chuck

  Go to widgets and drag a text widget to the position you want it on the side of that screen. You then get the chance to add whatever text you want to it and it will show up in your sidebar as you have positioned it.
  It you don’t like where it is you can move it anytime after the text has been typed in.
