Add another free site?

  Is it possible to add a second site with the free plan? I would like to experiment a bit and don’t want to touch my ‘first’ site for this. When I click the ‘Add new site’ link in my site home I’m always leaded throug a path that wants me to add a domain etc.
  Any help would be appreciated!

  Hi there,

  To start a new site, go to My Site. There will be an option to Add New Site in the menu bar. Then you can create an entirely new site.
  Alternatively you can create a new site by going to https://wordpress.com/start/.

  I believe you do need to create a domain name, however it doesn’t need to be anything creative, for example my test site is just ‘testsitevolunteer’.
  If you start to create your site, there are one or two options for free domain names, listed under the recommended domain name. When you are asked to select a plan, there is an option to have a free plan at the top of the page.
