  I am writing a post about getting up every morning to the sound of my cell phone alarm. Is there a way I can record the sound of my alarm so that people reading my post can hear it? I thought it would be kind of a fun thing, if it’s possible.

  If you’ve got a mic and some sound processing software there’s no reason why not.
