Add “Author” section to Product (WooCommerce) menu in the dashboard

  Hello, I have an old “book publisher” WordPress website that stopped suddenly last month (purchased theme problem, not available anymore!); so, I did a database backup, removed the old files from the server (I kept the photos, more than 2000 images) and purchased new theme. After installing the new theme and working on it without problems, I found that I can’t see anymore “Author” section in the Product menu (in the dashboard); now I can’t choose book author from a list when adding new product, and therefore, the book authors are not displayed in the website, but still exists in the SQL database.

  Note: in the new theme, you can add author by adding a new value to an existing attribute (“book-author” in these case)

  I hope it’s clear. Please any help??
